Trip Outline

5:30 am – 6:00 am: Hotel pick-up and vehicle drive to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

6:00 am – 6:30 am: Complete Airport formalities

6:30 am – 7:30 am: Fly to Lukla (2,860 m) from Kathmandu which usually takes about 45 minutes. It may take more than usual time if the weather conditions are not favorable.

7:30 am – 8:30 am: Refuel at Lukla and start a helicopter fly over the beautiful Everest region. Make sure to strictly follow the helicopter guidelines. Land at Pheriche to switch a helicopter to fly over 4500 m. There is a weight limitation of up to 250 kg only, thus trekkers are divided into groups of 3 and 2 to fly over Kalapatthar.

8:45 am – 11:00 am: Fly over Kalapatthar at an elevation of 5644.5 m which is the vantage point to get panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, etc. Land at Kalapatthar and spend 10-15 minutes taking pictures, and admiring the scenery. Fly over Everest Base Camp and adore the surrounding sceneries land at Syangboche. Walk for 10 minutes to the Everest View Hotel at an elevation of 3,880 m. It is one of the world’s highest-situated hotels. Enjoy breakfast or lunch as your preference cherishing the close-up views of Everest.

11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Fly to Lukla, refuel, and fly back to Kathmandu.

12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Airport pick up and transfer to the hotel.
